The Telegraph reports that a tribunal in Birmingham awarded damages of £2500 to a white Christian worker Mr Turon after it found he had a valid complainant of discrimination. In an internal email his promotion was questioned in the following terms. “Is it because he is white?”, and it also made a reference of him as also not a “Muslim brother”
Hafezis comments : in an age when Muslim want to be seen as participating fully in all parts of British life, I am concerned that that they only employ 2 white workers out of 350.
Be careful how you refer to your employees even in internal emails. They can come to haunt you
